Real Boxing 2 is a sequel to the popular sports game Real Boxing , developed by Vivid Games. The game is distributed as a free model with microtransactions.
About the plot in Real Boxing 2
The history of the game is directly related to “Creed”, the seventh film about the legendary boxer Rocky Balboa. However, this time he is not the main character – neither in the movie nor in the game. The story is about a wealthy young man named Adonis Johnson. He goes up against his family and decides to try his luck in a boxing career, fighting against the legend of his father, Apollo Creed, a character that was present in all the previous installments of the series about Rocky. The aspiring boxer travels to Philadelphia, where he meets one of his father’s longtime rivals, the famous Rocky Balboa. He asks him to become his coach.
Gameplay in the game
The gameplay of Real Boxing 2 does not differ much from the previous part of the series. As a young boxer, you train under the supervision of Rocky and consistently climb the career ladder as a boxer. As you progress through the game, you will develop various stats of your character. This will allow you to fight against stronger opponents. You will also open up access to various useful gadgets. Some of them serve only a decorative role, while others increase certain parameters of the character.
The combat system used in the game combines realism with arcade elements. In battles, you must use different combinations of blows and the correct battle tactics. You need to adapt to your opponent with whom you will fight. In the second part, the gameplay has become a little more dynamic, and during matches you can activate super attacks.
Released on Android and iOS platforms, Real Boxing 2 offers several game modes for both single and multiplayer play. Thanks to this, in addition to developing a boxer in a career mode, players can participate in regular events, complete various contracts and fight with the most powerful fighters. The license obtained by the developers allowed the developers to use elements of all parts of the series. This brings classic movie duels into the game, allowing players to face icons such as Apollo Creed, James Lang or Ivan Drago.
One of the most important characteristics of Real Boxing 2 is the significant improvement in the visual aspect of the game over its predecessor. Developers from the Vivid Games studio have switched from the previously used Unreal Engine 3 to the fourth generation, making the game one of the most beautiful mobile games in its genre. The characters and animations have also been improved. Thanks to motion capture technology, they have become much more realistic than in the previous part of the series.
